8 Layers of Heavenly Goodness

Oh. Em. Gee.

Cold Stone Creamery has made me the happiest cake lover EVER!  Seriously.  No, really, I am in love.

To give you some background, I HATE for my food to touch.  HATE I tell you.  Like to the point that I use several dishes at most holiday meals because I think food touching is gross.  And yes there are exceptions to the rule, but not many.  But I digress…..

Last month I attend the Chicago Toy and Game Fair Mommy Blogger Brunch and I was introduced to a true slice of heaven. I mean it was like the skys opened up and there on my plate was……well I shall let Cold Stone describe it for you….

Cake Batter Layers – Eight luscious layers of Cake Batter Ice Cream, moist Yellow Cake, Cookie Dough and Chocolate Shavings wrapped in fluffy Cake Batter Frosting and topped with Fudge.

And yes, I ate it.  And I loved it.  I know, I am just as shocked as you are.  Since my birthday celebration lasts one month and two weeks (to be discussed at a later date), I shall be partaking of this heavenly delicacy in a few days, since I am still finishing up my first (of many) birthday cakes.

So to sum this all up, not only does Cold Stone Creamery have the most delectable ice cream EVER…but they have paired it with the moistest cake in the world. And then made it so neurotic foodies or cakers (yes I totally made that up!) like myself can enjoy them both AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!! Do you have any idea how important this is?

  1. I LOVE this combination.. vanilla ice cream (pick one).. graham crackers, pecans and carmel… oh oh oh, did i forget the brownie in it AND more carmel.. (my stomach hurts).. no need for a lid, just a spoon and plenty of napkins… the first taste is like O M G .. the last one is like Nooooooo im done? thanks and goodnight 🙂

  3. Well then I can actually say that its about time you have tried foods that touch! =)
    I have tried several flavors of Ice cream; mint, raspberry, chocolate when I am able to get down to our local store… Even got an Ice cream cake….. dying to try the cake creations and since my birthday is just around the corner it should be me! I so want the midnight delight as the child screams to push the adult away and say no you want the cake batter confetti.
