Day 6 – Girlfriends 🙂
Donzelle. Gingi. Ronni. Tiffany. Dana. Iris. Jashquee. Marquece. Natasha. Tira. Tracey. Tracy. Regina. Jamila. Kris. Rashida. Melanie. Asabi.
This list could go on and on. These are my GIRLS. My SISTAS. These are some women that love me in spite of myself. They are ridiculously amazing in their own rights, and they let me be their friend. Do not ask me why, because I do not know. But I love them ALMOST as much as I love myself. They challenge me, push me, clown me, chastise me, and most of all, love me.
I have some girls, er women, I have been friends with for 30+ years. I have some I have only known for about 5 years and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
I am grateful today for all my girlfriends. For every woman that has deemed me worthy to be her friend, and then allowed our friendship to become familial, thank you, all of you, for helping me be a better me.

For the month of November as we begin to focus on the Thanksgiving Holiday, I am using this time to refocus my gratefulness for the good, bad & indifferent in my life. For the next 30 days, I am going to post one thing that I am grateful for as a guide to keep seeing the silver linking in all that life has to offer. I encourage you to join me on this journey. It does not have to be anything elaborate and fancy. It can be a simple sentence or a paragraph. The sole purpose of this journey is to redirect any negative energy that may be trying to change your life.
