Day 4- The Little Things
Red Cups from Starbucks. Cake Batter Chap Stick. Kisses on my Third Eye. A dollar in the washer. A smile from a stranger. Unsolicited text messages that make you smile. Pictures on your Facebook wall with the caption – This made me think of you. Sunflower mouse pads.
It’s always the little things in life we take for granted. This is so sad because these are the things that make the rough days a little easier.
When you are feeling a little down, its always going to be some little thing that makes you smile in spite of it all.
So today, I am grateful for all of the little things that make this adventure called life bearable; for making it that much easier to navigate; for making me smile.
What are you grateful for today?

For the month of November as we begin to focus on the Thanksgiving Holiday, I am using this time to refocus my gratefulness for the good, bad & indifferent in my life. For the next 30 days, I am going to post one thing that I am grateful for as a guide to keep seeing the silver linking in all that life has to offer. I encourage you to join me on this journey. It does not have to be anything elaborate and fancy. It can be a simple sentence or a paragraph. The sole purpose of this journey is to redirect any negative energy that may be trying to change your life.
I am grateful for the understanding that comes from doing the work. I am grateful for long tear filled nights that cleanse and awaken the spirit for the morning. I am grateful for the space and silence to hear myself. I am grateful for transparency. I am grateful for blog post that allow me to be grateful 🙂
I am not a big fan of Starbucks and its mainly because I am not a coffee drinker, but I do drink hot chocolate every now and then. LOL. But anything that makes people smile and helps them get on with their day I am all for. I love your I am grateful post. I think we should all take time and be thankful for our many blessings!
